The students each introduced themselves and told the guests about their own personal objective and why they are attending Posillipo, our short name for The Pontifical Seminary and Institute of Theology at Posillipo. Three of the students were seminarians, one is a Dominican sister, and there are studying theology to become teachers in the public school system in Italy. They each spoke about the uniqueness of Posillipo and the instruction by Jesuits and a foundation based in the teachings of Saint Ignatius. The reception gave board members and their guests the most tangible rationale for our commitment to Posillipo: real life students who have been led by the Holy Spirit to pursue a vocation of service to others whether as a religious or as a layperson. Fr. Rito, who is a spiritual advisor at Posillipo, gratefully acknowledged Mr. Borynack for his hospitality and the guests, many of whom have been generous supporters of The Posillipo   Foundation financially and in spirit.  Fr. Rito expressed his interest in hosting guests from the United States in Posillipo if and when a visit may be planned.
